Ebola is a rare but deadly viral disease caused by Orthoebolaviruses. It leads to hemorrhagic fever, damaging the body’s ability to clot and often resulting in severe bleeding, organ failure, and death.
Transmission occurs through direct contact with infected body fluids, contaminated clothing or
bedding, unsterilised equipment, or handling infected wild animals.
