Digital transformation is one of the five pillars of the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), with the others being Agriculture and Food Security, Universal Health Coverage, Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMES) and Housing.

The Government has disbursed over Sh2.1 billion to more than 81,000 youths across the country under
the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) project.

Through provision of affordable credit and the enhancement of a savings culture, the Fund has opened doors for small entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, invest in new opportunities and stabilise their incomes.
