Access to decent and affordable housing remains a key pillar of Kenya’s socio-economic transformation agenda. In line with the Government’s commitment under the Affordable Housing Programme (AHP), efforts have been intensified to bridge the housing deficit that stands at about 200,000 units to enhance living standards and promote inclusive urban development across the country, particularly for low-income earners.
