PPPs driving development of key infrastructure projects
Kenya faces an extensiveo and growing infrastructure deficit; from road networks stretching thousands of kilometres to a significant housing shortage, and escalating demand for energy, water and digital services. Relying solely on public financing to bridge this gap is neither practical nor fiscally prudent. It is precisely this reality that has placed Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) at the centre of Kenya’s development financing strategy.
